Join us on Wednesday, July 12, at 10:00AM (EDT) for a webcast on Higher Education in Crisis and Conflict: Implications for Policy and Partnerships.
The webcast will be hosted by USAID Education in Crisis and Conflict Network (ECCN) in collaboration with researchers from several universities sharing their work in Afghanistan, Colombia, Haiti, and Sub Saharan Africa. USAID's Division Chief for Higher Education, Workforce Development and Youth Office of Education, Grace Lang, will provide opening remarks as well as participate in the Q&A session.
The webcast will discuss how proximity to and relationships with policymakers matter when building capacity for higher education institutions in fragile contexts. Additionally, speakers will focus on the contextual factors, institutional partnerships, and external funding that may enable educational organizations to contribute to stability.
