Please join ECCN, EDC, and USAID Mali for a webcast on June 12, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. (EDT), to discuss the important role that Accelerated Education (AE) is playing in northern Mali.
USAID’s Education Recovery and Support Activity (ERSA), implemented by Education Development Center (EDC), currently reaches 10,000 out-of-school children affected by the on-going conflict in the Gao and Menaka regions.
Learn how ERSA has used results from a Rapid Education Risk Assessment (RERA) to refine its program design, including its accelerated education curriculum, and tailor implementation plans to the on-the-ground realities of the conflict. The webcast will also discuss ERSA in light of the Accelerated Education Principles, released in late 2017 by the inter-agency Accelerated Education Working Group.
Please RSVP by Sunday, June 10, to obtain webcast login information. For more background, the case study report, the ERSA RERA, and presenter bios, please see the event page.
