Just a short note and newsletter today. Watch for more next week!

Looks like we're in for some cold weather - so be prepared! Make sure you have a cold-weather emergency kit in your vehicles. If you have animals, think about preparations to help them adapt to the change in weather.

Season's Greetings!

Karen Robertson, WSU Extension Program Assistant
Lincoln-Adams or 509-659-3209
Lauren Hrncirik, 4-H Youth Development Specialist for Grant, Adams, & Lincoln County, doesn't have to prepare for the cold! She is in Paraguay assisting with developing the 4-H program!
Watch for news of her experience!
4-H Club and Family Group Re-Enrollments

Congratulations to the clubs & groups that are working hard to meet the December 1 re-enrollment deadline.
We appreciate your efforts to comply with new requirements and documentation to help keep not only your 4-H Club, Council or Committee, but the WA State 4-H program "legal" and eligible for non-profit status!

Next week, we will post a list of the Lincoln & Adams Clubs & Groups so far that have completed all re-enrollment tasks.

MOST have submitted enrollment information to the 4hOnline system!

Some "Head" club leaders still need to "Confirm" the youth members that have submitted enrollments so far.

MOST clubs & some Family Groups are active and have submitted their Annual Club (or Family) Plan.

All CLUBS turned in financial records for FY 2016! YAY! (Still waiting for some non-club programs to submit last year's Financial Records)

Several Clubs did NOT yet provide a copy of their current signatories from their Bank. (At least 2 current adults required.) If your Bank will not provide a copy of the account signatories, please let Randy or Karen know.

Most Clubs still need to provide copies of Minutes from last year.

We will be contacting some clubs for copies of their Constitution & By-Laws. We will NOT hold up activating your youth members if all above requirements are met. But we do need to make sure we have on file for all Chartered Clubs.

Thanks again for working to make the best better!
Prepare for Winter Driving

Protect yourself and your passengers. Allow extra time to reach your destination during inclement weather. It takes only one unprepared or careless driver to slow or stop traffic.
