Na-Bor-Lee 4-H Youth Camp
Counselor applications are due MONDAY, May 2nd!

Camper Registration deadline: June 10th but space is limited to the first 50 applicants.
Camp may fill before deadline!

For ALL youth - not just 4-H club members!
Four fun-filled days of tent camping, swimming, crafts, classes, campfires, games and much, much more on the banks of Lake Roosevelt. Camp is geared for campers 2nd – 6th grade.

4-H 101 Leader Education Sessions

If you or someone you know would still like to be certified and enrolled as a new 4-H volunteer for this year, the remaining dates for required facet-to-face training sessions are listed below. We MUST have at least 5 firm RSVP's to schedule!.
- June 14 - Part 2 - 6:00 - 8:30 pm - Ritzville/Moses Lake RSVP by June 1st!
- June 21 - Part 3 - 6:00 - 8:30 pm - Ritzville/Moses Lake RSVP by June 1st!
- November 9 - Part 2 - 6:00 - 8:30 - Davenport or Ritzville
- November 10 - Part 2 - 6:00 - 8:30 - Moses Lake
- November 16 - Part 3 - 6:00 - 8:30 - Davenport or Ritzville
- November 17 - Part 3 - 6:00 - 8:30 - Moses Lake

4-H 101 Part 1 consists of 4 on-line learning modules that should be completed prior to face-to-face session.
There will most like be at least one set of sessions arranged for a Saturday or Saturday/Sunday in October or November. Be sure and contact us if interested.

Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition 
July 15-16, 2016

The 2016 Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition (NWJSE) will be held July 15-16 at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake, Washington.  The Junior Sheep Expo offers an excellent opportunity for young people from throughout the Pacific Northwest to showcase their sheep projects in a competitive, fun, and educational environment. 
According to the show’s President and lead organizer, Scott Mortimer of Wilson Creek, Washington, “The Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition provides a unique and fun learning experience for all youth interested in sheep by combining the most current technology in animal science with the traditions of the past.
Exhibitors desiring to enter market lambs in the 2016 NWJSE should complete and return an entry form by May 1.  The entry deadline for feeder lambs, breeding sheep, educational exhibits, and other contests is June 15.

4-H Teen Conference
 at the WSU campus in Pullman, WA  -

But Conference SCHOLARSHIP App due May 1st!
Recipients will receive notification by May 6th.
 
The Washington State 4-H Teen Conference brings together teens of all backgrounds across Washington to engage in educational programs applicable to their lives. Students are able to explore education options after high school, career possibilities, and life-skill development necessary for independent living. The conference includes interactive and hands-on education sessions, displays, and programs. It features nationally known speakers, university faculty, staff and students, community members, and 4-H member presenters. Check it out on: extension.wsu.edu/4h/youth/state-4-h-teen-conference/
