Student progresses to Poetry Out Loud regional competition for the second year in a row
Montika, grade 12, won our school wide 2022 Poetry Out Loud competition and has advanced to the regional competition for the second year in a row. Poetry Out Loud encourages the study of great poetry. The program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, learn about literary history and contemporary life.
We are so proud of all of the Poetry Out Loud participants this year. Congratulations to our 2nd and 3rd place winners as well; Elianna in grade 9 came in 3rd and MacKenzie in grade 10 came in 2nd. Thank you to all of the Logos Academy staff that helped put this event together, and a special thank you to our judges, Vito Grippi, Rob Fawcett, and Dustin E. Nispel.
