Omaha Gives Recap

We are very grateful for the support that rang in during Omaha Gives this year totaling our final donations to a whopping $12,860! We had 202 unique donors which also contributed to the $1,000 participation prize that we received at midnight during the 24-hour challenge. With contributions like yours, this will help us move forward in a lot of new and exciting ways. We can't thank you all enough!

CastlePalooza | Bike Tour

Last weekend we were happy to create the map for the historic bike ride in collaboration with CastlePalooza around the Gold Coast and Bemis Park neighborhoods. We also provided bike parking for those that chose to arrive on two wheels.

We also hosted a fix it station (pictured below), plus enjoyed live music and beer provided by the crew at Joslyn Castle. Thanks for joining us if you were able to attend. We hope that everyone who was able to join us had a great time!

College World Series | Bike Valet

We're taking over bike valet duties for the College World Series on Sunday, June 17th and would love to encourage everyone to pedal on down for the best parking available: directly across from the stadium between 13th & 14th on Mike Fahey Street. All volunteer shifts have been covered so we're good there but feel free to let people know that they should ride down for either the 1pm or 6pm game and can park their bikes with us!

This year Heartland Bike Share is organizing the CWS Bike to the Ballpark endeavor and offered the bike valet hosting opportunity to different groups and/or non-profits to spread the word about that organization (and maybe making some tip money in the process!). We’re excited to host on the 17th and hope that you'll ride down with the whole family. Your rides will be safe with us! We'll be there from an hour before the game starts until a half hour after the final out. Game one starts at 1 p.m. and Game two begins at 6 p.m. See you at the ball park!
