Ahead and into the Future!
As of January 1, 2016, Senior Associates Betsy Daniels and Sara Gersten-Rothenberg have taken the reins as the company’s new co-presidents, which results in the company returning to its status as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Betsy and Sara have been leaders within the company and members of Triangle’s ownership team for more than a decade. They are both delighted to step into their new co-ownership roles and lead the company into its 37th year of making a valuable impact in the fields of environmental education, facilitation, and dispute resolution work. Coordinating the Future of Kitsap County
One of Triangle’s newest projects encapsulates the heart of our facilitation practice: bringing together multiple governments and agencies to focus on critical issues and make better decisions together. Since July 2015, Triangle has worked with the Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council, which is a council of local governments, agencies, tribes, and other jurisdictions that help shape the future of Kitsap County by making regional land use and transportation decisions. New Stormwater Education Program on Behalf of the City of Sammamish, Introducing Local Kokanee Salmon 
Utilizing a King Conservation District member grant, the City of Sammamish hired Triangle to raise awareness of the rare kokanee salmon living in local streams and how our actions can impact these “little red fish.” To reach the target audience of students and community members, Triangle developed a hands-on elementary school workshop and an interactive booth for local festivals and events. This outreach helped the City meet National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit education requirements, and also aligned with the regional Puget Sound Starts Here campaign.
