Duke University + JSiE

JSiE signed an MoU with Duke University’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE). The MoU calls for JSiE to "provide advisory support to the development of content for a global online training series on impact measurement and management as it relates to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through impact investing."

Duke, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Impact Management Project (IMP), aims to create a massive open online course (MOOC) on the online learning platform, Coursera

The Impact Management Project (IMP) is a forum for building global consensus on how to measure, report, compare and improve impact performance. The IMP Structured Network comprises organisations that are working together to coordinate standards of impact measurement and management. They include organizations like the OECD, IFC, PRI, Global Impact Investing Council, the United Nations Global Compact, among other esteemed institutions.

The MoU calls for JSiE’s participation in "an academic association of researchers and practitioners from 10-15 global academic institutions, formally called the Impact Measurement and Management Online Training Academic Working Group."
