Welcome to your latest Chamber newsletter,
with the latest news and advice from our team, our members and our Patrons.
We’ve had a busy month here at the Mid Yorkshire Chamber supporting those of you who are heading back to work as Covid-19 lockdown restrictions are gradually eased. This by no means signals a return to normal working conditions with social distancing measures still in place and some industries still unable to reopen, but it is a light at the end of the tunnel for business communities across the country. Last week we welcomed the positive news that more businesses within the hospitality and leisure sectors will be able to open their doors once more on the 4th July.
However, some businesses are remaining closed for the time being as the nation continues to fight this virus. To those businesses, I recommend you check out our Chamber Finance Finder. We’ve partnered up with Swoop Funding to help simplify and speed up the funding process, matching member businesses with the right funding solutions across loans, equity and grants.
This month we launched our E-business Local Support Hub, an information centre for financial support, HR advice and guidance. This support is available for businesses, both members and non-members, who have been affected by the coronavirus crisis. More information can be found below. Please forward this email to any businesses who you may think are interested.
These are challenging times, but individuals and businesses have shown true resilience, going above and beyond to help their communities. If you know someone that has truly risen to the occasion, get involved with the Yorkshire Post’s ‘The Big Thank You’ campaign.
Below you can find further updates and information including business support, virtual networking and the latest news from our members and Patrons.
If you would like to speak to a member of our team about how we can help you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch on 01484 483 660 or getconnected@mycci.co.uk.
I hope you all have a safe July and keep in touch!
