Important Opportunity TODAY

Superintendent Gus Balderas
is coming to talk to YG parents
about the future of
Japanese language immersion

Thursday, APRIL 14th

Hear about the possibility of extending the immersion program into middle school, expand the YG program to K-8, learn how we can strengthen the high school Japanese options, and get your questions answered.

Great attendance will go a long way to influencing the viability of expanded opportunity for our students.

Pink eye seems to be going around. Please remind kids to wash, wash, wash their hands!  Parents should minimize exposure by keeping their child with pink eye home until the contagious stage has passed, usually 3-5 days.
You can still sneak away to Cancun for a few days...
make an offer and the certificate is yours!

We have a vacation certificate from the auction up for grabs! Five days and four nights of accommodations in Cancun, Mexico at either Laguna Suites Golf or Spa (www.lagunasuites.com.mx) or the Ocean Spa Hotel (www.oceanspahotel.com).  The vacation is valid for travel by two adults and two children under the age of 12 (there are some additional requirements that must be met - see below.)  Reservations are based upon availability; there are no blackout dates.

The certificates include the “Stay at One, Play at Four” benefit.  What this means is that although you will stay at either the Ocean Spa Hotel or the Laguna Suites Golf and Spa, you will be able to enjoy the amenities at all four of our Cancun resorts: Sunset Royal, Sunset Marina Resort and Yacht Club, Laguna Suites Golf and Spa and the Ocean Spa Hotel.  There is a free shuttle that runs all day, every day, between all four of the resorts.

If you are interested, send Wendy a note: wendydt99@yahoo.com

Upon reserving travel dates, an $89 reservation fee and $110 in hotel taxes must be paid.  These fees are per vacation certificate, not per person. Holiday travel may require additional fees too.
The vacation certificate is valid for accommodations only, however, the recipients can upgrade the vacation certificate to include all of their meals and beverages.

Certificate is valid for travel within 12 months from date of registration. Valid for travel by two adults, between the ages of 30 and 70, and two children under the age of 12. Adults must present a valid ID and two major credit cards for identification at time of check-in. Married travelers must travel with their spouse. Cohabitating couples who have lived together for two years or more must travel together. This offer is not valid for travel by adults who are full time students without gainful employment or by adults whose profession is in the travel, hotel, cruise line or airline industries. Retirees are welcome to travel. A Reservation fee in the amount of $89 USD and hotel taxes must be paid at time of reservation travel dates. Reserving with 60-90 days advance notice is recommended for a low season, 90- 120 days advance notice for a high season.
