Moonee Valley Internships
Melbourne’s newest brewery Hawkers has recently opened its doors in Reservoir.
Hawkers Brewery is one of the most high tech breweries in the southern hemisphere.
Our Moonee Valley Internships Program offers internship opportunities to young people to gain additional skills and support to enter the competitive job market. The project is a response to the increasing youth unemployment rate in our region. As an organisation we believe it is important to invest into our young people's futures.

We are very excited to have partnered with Hawkers Beer Brewery to offer a rare internship opportunity to a young person in their brew house in Reservoir.

MVI interns receive a total of $20 per day

a volunteer allowance for costs related to their role (e.g. lunch & travel)

Hawkers Brewery is a newly launched venture between the Middle East's first ever craft brewer, Mazen Hajjar from 961 Beer, and respected Melbourne chef Joseph Abboud. They launched their first beer on February 19, 2014 and on February 21 it won the People's Choice award at the Great Australian Beer Festival in Geelong.
Their Brew House is located in Reservoir and is all about efficiency, supplying high quality crafted beer to business and the wider public.
