Bill Denison, Life Coach
To learn more and experience this approach join us for the half day intro workshop at Baltimore Yoga Village on October 29th.
This cartoon speaks so wonderfully to what I help others address in my coaching practice.
So, can we transmute our "lead" into "gold"? Well, not literally, but as it applies to our emotional growth as people, Yes!
I help folks look at what they want in their life, their “gold”, and then support the alchemy of turning their “lead” into what they seek: more self acceptance, more connection, creativity and a greater ability to set boundaries.
And what about this idea of being finished and “going home”? How much “lead” is in us anyway? In my experience, a lot. And from my perspective maybe we are looking for the wrong “home”. What if the “home” we want to return to is already here, right now? Not the one that’s all “gold” as in some fairly tale but the real one, our authentic one, the one containing all our traits, good and bad, “lead” and “gold”. I believe the true missing ingredient for coming to that “home” is self compassion and acceptance for the experiment that is us. That’s the true magic.

Anxiety, ADHD, and family confict are still my top presenting problems, and I enjoy helping kids and parents navigate emotional regulation, as well as, exploring the brain and mind-body relationship. I use Sand Tray and Art Therapy exercises, along with Yoga, and offer Mindful Meditation groups for tweens, teens, and adults. Call if you are interested in joining any of these groups.
Thursday Nov 17th at 7pm I will host a parent education session: Appealing to the Whole Brain: Strategies for When Your Child Becomes Unhinged. Contact me for classes and appointments:
