"Super Electrolyte" Capable of Operating in Extreme Temperatures
A research team led by Fischell Institute faculty member Chunsheng Wang, a professor in the University of Maryland Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE), has developed a method of breaking the bond between solvents and Li-ions by dissolving the fluorinated carbonate electrolytes into non-stable polar solvents.
FDA Hiring Postdoc for Center of Biologics Evaluation and Research
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has an urgent need for a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Hana Golding's lab at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research in Silver Spring, MD. The fellow should have demonstrated interest in the study of immune response to adjuvants, with a background in molecular biology and/or biochemistry and no more than four years of postdoctoral training. Those interested should send their CV to Dr. Marina Zaitseva and Dr. Hana Golding.
