Fischell Institute Faculty Present at MedTech Conference Kickoff
Drs. Lex Schultheis and Martha Wang represented the Robert E. Fischell Institute for Biomedical Devices at the 2019 MedTech conference this week in Boston. MedTech is one of the largest nationwide conferences focused on emerging medical technologies.
Voting for Technical.ly Baltimore’s 2019 Technical.ly Awards is open through Sept. 28. Included in the nominees for Invention of the Year is the University of Maryland, College Park and University of Maryland, Baltimore collaboration for drone-delivered transplant organs. This UM Ventures partnership between the A. James Clark School of Engineering and the University of Maryland School of Medicine is working to make transplant organ delivery faster and more reliable.
