Researchers Develop Technique to Advance Cell-Based Systems
Fischell Institute Director William E. Bentley and a team of University of Maryland researchers have developed a technique to advance cell-based systems. Their work was published this week in Nature Communications.
Now Accepting Fischell Institute/IBBR Travel Fellowship Applications
The Fischell Institute and the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (IBBR) are now accepting travel fellowship applications from graduate students and postdoctoral researchers working with Fischell Institute or IBBR mentors. The goal of this program is to support the success of scholars whose projects translate scientific and engineering research into innovative solutions to biomedical challenges.
TTI/Vanguard, a professional research membership for technology and other business leaders, visited the Fischell Institute this week. The group also toured the BioWorkshop and Terrapin Works facilities in A. James Clark Hall. Fischell Institute leaders also showcased new research initiatives.
