Scarcelli Receives Junior Faculty Research Award
Fischell Institute faculty member Giuliano Scarcelli was named the recipient of the 2019 A. James Clark School of Engineering Junior Faculty Outstanding Research Award. His recognition represents one of the highest honors that the Clark School bestows upon any of its junior faculty.
Proposals for UMD/UMSOM October Symposium Due September 10th
The University of Maryland, College Park/School of Medicine joint symposium “Engineering Solutions to Biomedical Problems: Understanding Clinical Needs and Bioengineering Innovations” will take place in Baltimore this October. Proposals are due by Tuesday, September 10th. Please submit your title and a brief description (250 words or less) of your ideas to Drs. FDA-CERSI Collaborative Research: Impacts on Advancing Public Health
The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Office of Regulatory Science and Innovation will host presentations from the FDA Centers of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSIs) on September 13, 2019, from 10:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m. The event, "FDA-CERSI Collaborative Research: Impacts on Advancing Public Health," will showcase the results and impacts of research projects in each of the four CERSIs. The University of Maryland CERSI is a partner organization of the Fischell Institute.
