Pucks for Possibilities

Over $22,000 raised for the HBF

Thanks to sponsors, players and guests, nearly 350 people attended the 2015 Pucks for Possibilities fundraiser and raised over $22,000 for the HBF.

For the second year in a row, the Associate Team pulled out a win against the Builders. A special thanks to all the players and fans, who made this part of the event so exciting. Another huge thank you to Brooklyn's and their fantastic staff for hosting the reception portion of Pucks.

Check out photos from the event!

If you are interested in future HBF events, both annual and event specific sponosrships are now available. Contact Bridgid Dunlap for additional details.

Thank you to the 2015 Pucks for Possibilities Sponsors:

Volunteer Opportunities

HBF Launches Volunteer Program

As a result of an outpouring of interest from individuals and companies looking to get involved and a grant from the Disability-Benefits Support Contract Committee, the HBF is happy to announce an official volunteer program. This program will allow at least one opportunity for unskilled volunteers to get their hands dirty and help build a ramp each month.

These additional volunteer opportunities will help save on labor costs and address the time constraints of skilled volunteers and laborers, who historically completed the majority of HBF ramps. Beyond the time and money saving for the HBF, this program is to allow more hands-on experiences for volunteers, and allow more individuals to connect with the mission of the HBF.

Ramp building volunteer opportunities will take place the last Thursday, Friday or Saturday of each month. Typical volunteer groups consist of 4-6 individuals. If you or a group you know is interested in participating on a ramp building crew, contact Carley Westerson
