2014 was another very progressive year for Blossom Ireland of which all our families, volunteers, staff and stakeholders can be very proud. Some highlights from the services side of things include the introduction of our very first camps during the Halloween and Easter school holidays, the launch of our new weekly Yoga class, and the successful running of our first teen camp over the summer.
It was also a very active year from a fundraising perspective - raising a total of almost €83,000. This included everything from U2 tribute bands, half marathons and treasure hunts - not to mention the huge number of kids selling everything from cakes to loom bands to raise money for us! We thank you all!
As we move into 2015 we intend to focus on the development of new services to cater to the changing needs of the growing number of teenagers we have, while also continuing to deliver our therapy led Discovery Camps. We hope you enjoy reading our very first newsletter, and we wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year on behalf of Blossom's staff and families.
Thanks to your help we have been able to ……

This will focus on supporting our Blossom children out and about in the community. We are also planning to introduce an advanced class of Yoga to cater to those children who are ready to move to the next level of poses.
