According to the latest report by telecom analyst firm the Carmel group, the US fixed-wireless broadband market is forecast to double within five years ($2.3 billion in 2016 to $5.2 billion in 2021)

AT&T continued to roll out its fixed wireless offering, adding locations in nine new states. Check out more details on these 8 states here

In other industry news, NTCA joined the broadband coalition to boost fixed wireless broadband services in rural and underserved areas.
C Spire announced the launch of its new fixed wireless services in eight initial markets in Mississipi and plans to offer unlimited wireless internet packages at $55/month with speeds up too 25 Mbps. Read more here.

The Brothers WISP discussed Cambium, the difference between PMP and ePMP, Elevate and more in their latest chat with Sakid Ahmed from Cambium. ISP radio spoke to Bridgewave's product manager about carrier-class 10Gbps wireless solutions. Mimosa's latest blog post highlights how a Solar Fixed Wireless kit saved a network. ISP Billing & OSS software provider Sonar announced the acquisition of Wispmon, a popular WISP billing vendor.
