W E E K L Y E M A I L # 2 0 :
Great first week back everyone - good to see people snapping up the new uniform and those that had practised over half term.
We cannot stress enough how important attendance is in this term.
With those taking exams, it is the repetition and rehearsal in the exam space that is key to it being an enjoyable experience. With those taking part in the showcase it is to understand the spacing and formations, again for it to be an enjoyable experience. The showcase is a team effort and lack of attendance puts other behind as well. We don't want anyone feeling anxious and under pressure so please do make sure you turn up to each class, coaching session or extra rehearsal.
Please read on for further information about the showcase and exams as well as join us in wishing Perdey and Jess the best of luck in their Grade 1 Ballet exam this Friday at the RAD! Both pupils started Ballet this academic year and Miss Lucy proposed fast tracking them through their Grade 1 as they showed such determination, talent and ability.
They have had to work extremely hard; doing two Ballet classes per week since Easter, as well as coaching at the RAD HQ in Battersea during half term/on Sundays. Huge thanks to their parents for supporting them (and us) throughout. Break a leg girls! (Here are the other Grade 1 pupils watching Perdey + Jess perform their character dance - you'll all get to see it at the showcase!)
PLEASE NOTE : Miss Jo will NOT be at the Front Desk today during Ballet classes as she is representing Clifford Studios at Lowther School's disco fitness event! If you have any questions or want to order uniform etc then please email!

There was a slight error on the timetable with regard to Monday's - start and finish time for Grade 2 Modern is the same, we just had limbering and the class mixed up with regards to the halls. Please click the button below to check the timetable.
Miss Lucy will be teaching all the Ballet at the Summer School with Miss Ellis + Miss Jo sharing the Modern. Her second choice is revealed below!
Today is the final day to receive the 10% discount so please do book in + pay if you are planning to attend - lots of you have talked about it and would hate for you to pay full price unnecessarily!
Click the image for details on how to book + pay.
Uniform requirements for this class are now black bottoms of any type (our dance stirrup leggings are great), black shoes (trainers, plimsolls etc) and our Clifford Studios t-shirt.
We have also produced a hoodie that will be required in the Autumn Term as it gets colder but can of course be purchased now as well. Pupils that do not do Drama can of course still purchase a hoodie but these CANNOT be worn IN dance classes.
Prices are as below:
T-shirts - £8.50
Hoodies - £17.00.
Both items come in sizes Small, Medium or Large and sample sizes will be at the front desk on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. We strongly advise you to try on before you order.

As several students have missed classes and/or extra coaching sessions, Miss Jo is offering extra coaching slots on Wednesday afternoons in the small hall should anyone wish to take them up. Each 30 min session will be priced at £15.00.
You can book a private 1 to 1 session for just your child or, if you want to get together with others in your exam set or class and share a session, £15.00 will be divided between you. Due to the size of the small hall, there will be no more than 4 permitted to share a session in order for it to be an effective practice!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a session and, if you want to share a session but do not have your classmates parents' contact details to arrange, please include this in the email and Miss Jo will attempt to coordinate. Slots available are as follows:
