With the mayoral + London Assembly elections happening on Thursday, the Barnes Children's Literature Festival AND various receptions at Kitson Hall, the next few weeks are a little confusing in terms of venues. Please see below for this week's locations. Next week we will update you again!
WEDNESDAY 4TH MAY: Kitson Hall
THURSDAY 5TH MAY: Holy Trinity Hall (no Drama classes this week)
SATURDAY 7TH MAY: Holy Trinity Hall
MONDAY 9TH MAY: Kitson Hall
GETTING TO HOLY TRINITY: Most of you know where to go now as we used the hall a couple of times last term. However if you don't, please click here for a map. The entrance to the hall is on Trinity Church Road and parking is limited. The hall is set back from the road and therefore you may need to leave a few extra minutes to find us! Changing areas are limited too so please come in uniform where possible and change out of it at home.
SUMMER SCHOOL UPDATE: We have now begun advertising outside of the school and have had some spaces booked. If you have been meaning to sign up (and take advantage of our early payment discount) then please get cracking to avoid disappointment! Click the image below for information!
As we are at Holy Trinity this week, there will be no Drama classes. This is reflected in your term fees (10 week instead of 12 week term). Some students go straight to Drama from Tap/Modern and as there are not two spaces at Holy Trinity we are unable to run Drama this week.
Miss Lucy managed to capture two of our Grade 1 Ballet students helping each other out with their new character work in class last week. Peer correction and assistance is vital in all our teaching, not only for learning steps but also for social and emotional development. Well done Amelie + Ameera!
Miss Jo has sent out some of the music as a trial and will be continuing to do so this week - please let us know if there are any problems.
As per the email on Friday directly to exam students' parents, we are likely to be putting on exam coaching in half term for anyone who wishes to take part. There have already been absences this term (which we know sometimes can't be helped) however these do need to be made up where possible, especially in exam term!
Please respond as quickly as you can to these emails if we are asking about dates as we are trying to accommodate as many of you as possible and it is rather difficult to coordinate as you can imagine!
