W E E K L Y E M A I L # 2 2 :
Just a week and a half left of term means not long now til the S H O W C A S E ! We are really excited to gather the majority of the school together again and hope you enjoy the below highlights reel from last year's show: CS3. (Please click as it is a video!)
Whilst this year's showCASE will not be quite so extravagant, we are still looking forward to displaying what the pupils have been working on this year.
Please read on for FINAL details regarding the ISTD exams next Monday + Tuesday as well as details regarding the showcase rehearsals which commence this SATURDAY!
If your child is NOT taking part in the showcase, you are invited to watch their last class. Please be warned though that this will be a 'regular' class rather than a show class so you may have to sit through lots of repetition!
50% have now paid and have received/will be receiving their tickets at classes over the next few days.
Next Wednesday (6th July) at 3.30pm, any remaining/spare tickets will be available to buy on a first come/first served basis at Kitson Hall. There are likely to be about 20 tickets only and these will be sold at £7.50 each, including a drink. If you have any tickets you do not require, please be sure to give them back to Jo before Wednesday 6th July.

We have been inundating you with information about our summer school over the past few weeks however, sign ups have not been as prolific as we had hoped. We will be making a decision as to whether we can run the week on 11th July so, if you are planning on coming, please do click the link below to let us know that!
To recap, the films we will be focussing our activities on are:
- Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
- James + the Giant Peach
- Finding Nemo/Finding Dory
We will be watching some of the above films in between creating props, scenery + posters for our end of week show. We will also be putting on hair workshops as well as the ballet, modern, drama, yoga, Pilates AND DDMix classes.
Any questions, please email Lucy or Jo , and for practical details please click below!
Please remember that the Drama uniform will be required in the showcase so do order ahead of Saturday which is the first rehearsal. We have plenty in stock! Click here to order.
JUMP - SATURDAY:
As part of the Modern syllabus, pupils are required to respond to music using an instrument. We are encouraging pupils to make their own instruments (anything you can shake usually easiest) and bring them in each week to use. This is especially important if your child is taking their exam in July.
Further updates have been posted on the exam page of the website, detailing uniform and timing requirements. Please, please, please take the time to read these and let us know ASAP if there are any problems so that we can do our best to resolve them!
