Time now added to the Beaujolais Night
Please keep this email and delete the previous one. The only change is that the event now has a time! If you haven't already told us whether you are coming or not then it would be great if you could let us know by the 1st November but you are welcome to contact us after that date.

LE BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU EST ARRIVE!

We are tasting only one day after the official release date!
Do you remember the mad races in the 80s and 90s to be the first person to bring back Nouveau Beaujolais? Helicopters and racing cars!
The style remains the same – a light fruity red wine from the Gamay grape. Fun and fresh but good from the good growers. We may also have another Beaujolais which is a little more mature for comparison.
Beaujolais is at the southern-most tip of Burgundy and the reds are all from the Gamay grape (not Pinot Noir like Burgundy). It is a beautiful area of hills and valleys with pretty villages and normally sun.
Come along and join in the fun at Lymm Hall. Please let us know by 4th November so that we can confirm numbers are within capacity. We are not having a meal this year (last year’s was not universally rated) but we will be having some light bite nibbles.  The price is cheaper than last year. £15 – it’s a bargain!
