The dates for next years exchange in Meung are Wednesday 15th April to Sunday 19th April.
The Exchange is earlier in the year than previous years and so whilst the start of a new year is often the time to start planning holidays, we are aware that some of you (at least) are thinking of transport now.
It would be useful if you could confirm that you are going to France and how you are going to get there (car, plane, train).
.The Lymm High School Easter holidays are Monday 6th April - Sunday 19th April 2020. However for some reason dates outside this Easter break got into the Meung Jumelage bulletin (and is still there). We have been assured that your French families know the correct Exchange date. When you contact your French families then please be clear about the dates that you are arriving.
Possible Group Travel?
It is possible that with the exchange taking place over Easter then more people may want to go straight there and straight back.
If you are interested in either
A Coach from Lymm direct to Meung and back.
or
a coach / mini-bus at Paris-Charles De Gaulle to pick you up on the Wednesday and take you to the airport on Sunday
... then please let us know. The committee can then discuss this and decide what is practical.
Jumelage Member willing to receive visitors
There is a lady who has joined the Meung Jumelage in the Autumn. Is anyone interested in taking part in the Exchange but has nowhere to stay? If so then we can supply you with a few extra details about the lady and if it looks a good match then we will ask the French committee about this. If there is no one from the current Twin Town looking for accommodation then we can open this out to any "potential members" who may also be willing to host the year after (but if so then it would pay them to join!).

Subs will be due soon. Membership fees for 2020 are they same as this years.

We are also happy for you to pay by cheque. In this case please make it payable to the "Lymm Twin Town Society" and give it to a committee member. If you want to post it to Lesley then we can supply her address in Knutsford.
We will be checking to see who has paid in early 2020 but if you want to get your subs out of the way this year then we would be delighted.
