A Regional Spin on CTE Month®

February is traditionally celebrated as Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month, during which a public awareness campaign takes place to recognize the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country. Here in West Central Texas, we are celebrating all careers and the value of establishing a career culture in schools during the month of February and beyond. The festivities are officially underway!
Celebrate Careers Month is an initiative for schools to partner with Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas to increase awareness of career opportunities available in our region. 56 schools across the region took the pledge to celebrate careers all February long. Participating schools received a kit that included tools, games, and resources to create a career-focused culture on their campus. Follow along with everything happening in February 2020 on Instagram @wowyouthprogram or #celebratecareers on social.

Please join us in congratulating Jennifer on her retirement and Brenda on her call to full-time ministry. They will both be missed!
