Royal Rabbit will kick off the holiday season with our annual Christmas open house. It's our gift to you of free wine tastings, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and discounts on wine. Now will be the time to stock up on your favorite wine for yourself and for gifts. Discounts are as follows:

Tasting Room
We will be comparing the 2013 and 2014 Duke, our Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc blend.The difference between the two is the amount of Merlot that is blended into the Duke. In 2013 Roy blended 7% Merlot and in 2014 he increased the Merlot to 20%.
Which one will you prefer?.

Bring your favorite foods anytime during tasting hours on the Picnic Pairing 101 days and winemaker and food pairing expert, Roy Albin, will help you find the right wine selection to complement your picnic. If a Royal Rabbit varietal does not create the perfect pair for your food selection, Roy will recommend a varietal, or a specific wine that does pair perfectly using his impressive breadth of wine training knowledge and experience. Learn more about the basics of wine and food pairing with a brief educational discussion at 4pm on the Picnic Pairing 101 Saturdays each month.

Through the guidance of your art instructor you will be taught how to see a painting in a new way. Your instructor will simplify the creative process to give you the confidence to paint like a master artist.
Join in on the most creative fun-filled evening, where you can socialize with your friends, drink wine and learn to paint a master piece.
No prior Art Training needed. Just bring yourself, your friends and be prepared to discover how truly amazing your creativity is!

HARVEST IS COMPLETE!
The grapes are in. This is just the beginning of the process to bring you the wine you love to drink. Now's the time to stir the reds to get the skins to bring out that deep red color and flavor that makes a red wine so popular. Now's the time to filter the wine to give it that crystal clear look. It's the time to add the sugar if it is going to be sweetened or the sulfates if they are needed. And it is the time to blend a little of this and a little of that.
This is the time the magic happens.

At the Winery
First and foremost we are thankful for our delightful customers! Without you our dream of Royal Rabbit wouldn't exist. We are very fortunate to have the most noble of patrons. We enjoy all of you whether you stop in for a tasting and bring a picnic and stay for the afternoon or just pop in to pick up a couple bottles for a special occasion. And because we enjoy you so much we have tried to improve the winery by adding a nicer patio area for you to relax in, horse shoes, rabbit hole and bocci to play; and we've done a little painting in the tasting room. Hope you enjoy the upgrades.
We are off to Italy for two weeks in November. Mom and Pop will be watching the vineyard and Terri will be taking care of you in the tasting room. We are looking forward to a great vacation as well as tasting some Italian wines so we can compare our wines and learn from the Italians. We have found that each place we travel to we learn something new which brings more knowledge to our own winemaking.
I think we will make our Italy trip fun for everyone. I will bring back something from Italy and put it in the tasting room. If you guess what it is bring your club card with you and we will check off one item from the twelve you need to become a full club member. If you are already a Club member and you find the item, have your club card and we will give you a glass of wine free. The contest will begin on the 19th of November.
