Head's Blog:
11+ Preparation

Let’s face it – preparation for entrance exams at 11+ is stressful, both for children and parents alike. Wandsworth Prep School, however, is a Prep School; hence, preparing children for a variety of senior school entrance examinations is always at the forefront of our minds. Between the two, it is the child’s stress that needs to be avoided as much as possible if the preparation is to be effective.

Next Open Morning

If you have any friends who are interested in WPS, they are welcome to attend our next Open Morning.
Reception Have The Muddiest Day Ever!
VIDEO: Years 3 and 4 Explore Movement

The Reception children have had a fantastic start to Forest School at Wimbledon Common.  Over the last two weeks we have collected treasures, found bugs, explored giant stick houses and we have become very interested in nocturnal animals – we even found a foxes den and an owl house!

Years 3 and 4 have been exploring movement in various ways as part of our new cross-curricular topic. Watch our E-book to find out more about the start of our new learning journey.

We are very excited and absolutely loving our new learning!

Years 1 and 2 Visit
the Tower of London
Year 2 Play Some Incredible Tag Rugby

On Tuesday Years 1 and 2 went to The Tower of London. We went on a big coach into London City and on the way we saw Big Ben, the London Eye and The River Thames.
We were excited to see the crown jewels because they were very sparkly, and the children thought they were beautiful.

We have had a busy couple of weeks to kick off the Spring Term here at Wandsworth.Year 2 were absolute superstars when it came to our first TAG Rugby Fixture, demonstrating amazing sportsmanship and AMAZING rugby skills! The 4 games were very even with WPS coming out on top in most of them; congratulations to all involved!

A Message from Antarctica
A Recipe from Our School Kitchen

Although Year 3 and 4's incredible Antarctica project reached its dramatic conclusion at the end of term, we were greeted by one final reminder when we returned after Christmas - a postcard franked from The Penguin Post Office, Port Lockroy, Antarctica!

We adore our school lunches here at Wandsworth, and we thought we would share some of our favourite recipes with you so that you can enjoy these delicious meals, straight from our School kitchen.
