Drama Club: Pupils take part in Active Storytelling

At Drama Club we have been enjoying Active Storytelling around the story of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.  Each week we jump into the story and use techniques such as freeze frame, speaking in role, choral speech and physical theatre to bring the story to life.  This week we were trying to create tension and suspense.  Lovely Mr Tumnus was arrested by the wolves and we created...
On Wednesday14th October, Wandsworth Prep will be competing in its first Years 1 - 4 Cross Country. In preparation for this, there has been lots of sprinting, along with lots of out-of-breath-too-tired-to-run-anymore-Miss-Caitlin-don't-make-us! Over the past fortnight, pupils in Years 1 and 2 have been using the iPads to capture photos of light and shadow in preparation for our Light Exhibition as part of Poetry Week. View photos and watch a video of Forest School in action.

Reception have had a wonderful time settling in at Wandsworth Prep and we can't believe we have been together for over a month already! We have got to know all of our new friends very well through circle time games, trips to the common and exploring our new classroom..

    Teddy's Tune Time Toddler Group is coming to Wandsworth Prep!

We are excited to announce that Teddy Bears' Group, a pre-school activities group established three years ago by two local Mums Liz and Su, is introducing a new singing class for pre-schoolers.   Liz and Su are running a free 'taster' session of the new group on 21st October at Wandsworth Prep and we're offering places to Wandsworth Prep's current and prospective parents.  If you would like to attend with your child, please complete the booking form and Su and Liz will be in touch soon to confirm your place.  Alternatively feel free to email them at for more information.  There are limited places so please do respond as soon as possible if you would like to be assured of a place.
