This month was all about our volunteers! Volunteers are a vital part of our service, we simply could not provide the level of service we do to WA Consumers without them. We kicked off the week with a visit to the Mental Health Law Centre to receive inspiration from Paul Gaughan, the Volunteer WA's Volunteer Manager of the year 2017. Then on Thursday the 24th of May we braved the storm and took our volunteers out for a meal and then on to crazy golf to thank them for all that they do. Then our Office Manager, Allison Sampson and Volunteer, Georgia Turco hot-footed it over to the Volunteer WA Gala dinner at the Hyatt Hotel to accept our finalist certificate at the Volunteer WA Community Volunteer Organisation of the Year awards. This award recognises us for providing innovative leadership and good practice in volunteering andbringing about positive and enduring change to the community.
