Will you be renewing for May? Please let us know by this Sunday April 26th so we know the number of spots available for those on the waiting list.

If there is nobody at the CSA table, we give you permission to sign the pickup form and select a basket- they are all standard except for the egg subscriptions. Double check.

Nastrurtium officianale, is a peppery-flavoured aquatic plant. This fast growing, leafy vegetable is related to mustard greens, cabbage and arugula.

It is a storehouse of many phytonutrients that promote health and prevent disease. It is high in Vitamin A, C and K as well as minerals like copper, calcium and potassium. Regular consumption of cress is found to prevent osteoporosis, anemia and Vitamin A deficiency and protects from cardiovascular diseases.

Watercress & Mango Salad

1 bunch Judy's watercress
1/4 ripe mango (half ripe works best)
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 small red onion
1/4 small red bell pepper
2tbsp shadon beni

- Rinse the watercress under water, drain and trim off the stems as they can be woody and really bitter.
Slice the red onion very thin
- Julienne the red pepper and mango. With the mango you’ll have to peel off the skin with a sharp knife or potato peeler, then cut off a face and then cut in strips.
- Rough chop the cilantro. Add everything to a large bowl and toss.
- For dressing, add salt, black pepper, olive oil and either lime or lemon.
