Greetings from the Carolina Horse Park!

We have hit the ground running in 2016 with a very busy January at the Park; hosting two Winter Schooling Days, the first Pipe Opener of the year, and seeing Ian Stark’s vision for the Carolina International Cross Country courses come to life. We look forward to a great winter and spring season and are excited to see all of you at our Schooling Days, Pipe Openers, Horse Trials, and Driving Events as well as the Horse Park’s signature events; the Carolina International and Stoneybrook Steeplechase.
The Horse Park Has Great Economic Impact in 2015

The 2015 Economic Impact Study results are in and competitions held at the Carolina Horse Park during 2015 drew over 4500 non-locals and contributed $5.5 million dollars to the local community. What an impact!

We are always looking to increase the number of disciplines and competitions at the Park.  If you have any suggestions or can help with introductions please contact Christine at 910-875-2074 or via email at Christine@carolinahorsepark.com.
Ian Stark Hosts Carolina International Course Walk

Carolina International Cross Country Course Designer Ian Stark visited the Park on February 1-3, to continue work on the 2016 International courses alongside builders Tyson Rementer and Levi Ryckewaert. On Tuesday afternoon, Stark and Lefreda Williams led a group of more than 30 on a course walk around the cross country showing the new routes this year’s tracks will utilize as well as the recently built complexes and fences that will test North America’s top combinations.

After the resounding success of February’s course walk, another tour of the courses will be held with the Olympic and World Championship legend on Sunday, March 20th, just six days before riders tackle Stark’s tracks.
