NEW NAMING OF THE CABIN BRANCH EVENT SERIES SPONSORED BY SOUTHERN PINES EQUINE ASSOCIATES
2015 marks a new year for the Cabin Branch Event Series. As we undergo changes, we are thankful for Cabin Branch Tack Shop and their continued in a sponsorship role to the event series as they have been in the past. One of the biggest changes is the renaming of the Cabin Branch Event Series at the Carolina Horse Park! Recently, we talked to Dr. Tom Daniel of Southern Pines Equine Associates, the main sponsor of the series, about the new concept!

"Our 2015 sponsorship of the previously-named Cabin Branch Event Series at the Carolina Horse Park is exciting for our team at Southern Pines Equine Associates on so many levels."

With the new event comes the opportunity for goodwill and charity in the community, says Dr. Daniel:

"First and foremost, we are hoping to bring awareness to the challenges our veterans and their families face by partnering with a veteran based non-profit organization over the course of the series.

The challenge for all of us will be to raise the necessary funds to assist the needs of our returning soldiers and their families. We are also honored to be partnering with the Carolina Horse Park in their continuing efforts to meet the needs of our local horse community.

In addition, the focus remains the same as in previous years, to "provide high quality events that will help build a solid foundation for both the horse and rider", says Dr. Daniel.

"The new series is also a great opportunity to provide educational experiences for the horse owners, riders and trainers. We hope to integrate into the format, opportunities for Q & A sessions to address topics of interest."

Without further adeu, we are excited to announce the new name of the series...

Welcome Lindsey O'Reilly Sharp!
Our Carolina Horse Park family is constantly growing, and we are excited to add one more to our team! Please join us in welcoming Lindsey O'Reilly Sharp to the Carolina Horse Park. Lindsey will be working as our new Hospitality Coordinator for the Park Events. Lindsey moved to Southern Pines in 2012 where she helped turn her family's farm into a bed & breakfast. "With my tie-in to hospitality, I was asked to take over the hospitality coordinator position, which I look forward to jumping into this year", said Lindsey.
Welcome Lindsey!
