November HR Alliance Conversations Meeting

We also invite you to attend the HR Alliance Conversations meeting on November 19 at 1:30 p.m. in Old Main, Silver and Sage Room. During this meeting, you will have an opportunity to learn about Talent user roles.

We will provide a Zoom stream to ensure more of you can attend. Look for the updated Outlook invitation soon.

November ATS Feature of the Month: References

Each month, we feature a quick sneak peek at a feature of the Talent system. This month's feature is the References Collection.

What is new about references? Talent will provide departments with the flexibility to request not only letters of recommendation, but also general references from a previous employer.

Why do we love the Talent Reference Collection? The Talent Reference Collection feature allows hiring units to electronically request and collect their candidates' references. This system will allow departments to choose whether they would like to collect letters or completed reference forms. All reference requests initiated in Talent will be tracked in the system for recordkeeping purposes. Please note, units will continue to have the flexibility to collect references outside the system.

You can learn more about the Reference Collection feature during our December training sessions.

ATS Preparation Checklist

As we move toward our system go-live date of January 27, 2020, please continue to review ATS updates and participate in trainings. The checklist below can prepare you for the transition.
