The rowers of Brookline High School are going door-to-door on Sunday, June 13, to request tax-deductible donations in support of Brookline Rowing. This large co-ed team of athletes follows a long and successful tradition of Brookline Rowing going back to the turn of the 20th century as one of the oldest crew teams in New England. This past year has been challenging for all of us--we made it through by sticking together and getting on the water as much as possible! Thank you in advance for opening your doors and showing your support!

The BHS Cheer team will be holding Fall Cheerleading Tryouts on June 7, 8, and 9 from 3:30-5:30pm in Tappan Gym #2 (#66 Tappan St). To be cleared to tryout, athletes must be registered on FamilyID and submit a recent physical to the BHS Athletics Dept. No experience is necessary to tryout, and all rising 9th-12th graders are invited to try out! Email, go here,  or stop by Room 368 on the 115 Campus for more information.  Go Warriors!

Tenth graders are required to take the MCAS on Wed. June 9 (Math).  Eleventh graders may take the MCAS, but it is not required for graduation.  11th graders not signed up for the MCAS don't have classes on June 9.
Ninth graders will take the Science MCAS on Wed. June 9.

With new dispensaries opening in Brookline, B-PEN urges parents to be vigilant about underage marijuana use. We are hearing anecdotally that use is up among younger and younger teens, so now is a good time to continue the conversation about family expectations. The marijuana page of offers helpful information, including “Ten Talking Points for Discussing Marijuana with Our Kids,"  an excellent video made by BHS Peer Leaders, and a list of online resources.

The early release days on Mon. and Fri. (6/11) have been canceled. These dates are now full-days. Wednesday remains an early release day and is in-person.

For information from guidance, go here. Interim progress reports for 4th quarter are posted on the  Aspen Portal.

The Brookline School Committee will meet June 14th at 6 pm. Agenda and Zoom link will be here.
