Palmer Grants Available from the American Baptist Foundation

Theme: "COVID Recovery through Christian Discipleship & Witness"

"I will show you my faith by what I do" -James 2:18 (NIV)

Through this Palmer Grant Cycle, ABF and ABHMS will be looking to fund projects for applications that bridge common divides in this nation as they address challenges. Projects that bring together people who are economically, culturally and/or generationally diverse will get highest consideration. ABHMS will be looking for collaborations that help us “see” one another better and celebrate that everyone is made in the image of God. The following are four areas in which applicants can submit new or existing projects:
  • Regaining Stability through Collaboration
  • Renewing Hope through Collaboration
  • Repairing Broken Relationships
  • Resiliency for Times of Crisis

Free Face Masks

Free PPE for Community Based Organizations
The Nebraska HHS Partnership Center is supporting HHS and FEMA’s efforts to make face coverings widely available in order to limit the spread of COVID-19. The face coverings, produced and delivered in partnership with USPS and the National Council of Textile Organizations, are being made available to community-based organizations at no cost (and while supplies last).

As churches welcome congregants back to worship spaces, wearing a mask is a crucial part of health and safety. Handing out free masks in your service can be one way to help welcome everyone back safely. Click here for more information on how to order.
