Save the Date: Annual Member Meeting
Wednesday, April 26th, 7pm

Come network, mingle, learn more about Ed!, and vote on new board members. Appetizers will be provided along with a no-host bar.

Interested in considering a board position? The nomination process is simple, and self-nominations are encouraged. Send an email to Carrie with a brief description of your interest along with your contact information.

Nomination deadline is Wed, April 12, 2017. Nominees must be members in good standing. To learn more about Ed!s scope of work and the time commitment involved, please consider attending a board meeting (see dates below).

Ed! Grant Program in Action


A recent Ed! grant provided funding for poster design for February's Edmonds Has a Heart event. Coordinated through DEMA, the event recognized the $2,500 donation to the Nick of Time Foundation from 14 downtown businesses.

To celebrate, each business offered discounts over a four-day period and encouraged people to support local businesses that support their local community.

Ed!'s grant program harnesses the power of our local community, providing funding for projects that fit with Ed!'s goals and priorities. If your idea is a match, we have funding.

Local Sales Tax Rate Increase
April 1, 2017


Check your account at Washington State's Department of Revenue for specific rate details for your business.

 

A-Board & Sign Code

As the City reviews suggested amendments to the sign code, enforcement of the current code is suspended until April 30. City Council will review the Planning Board's new recommendations March 21, 7pm. Please contact Tracy Felix, volunteer sign committee chair (with representatives from Ed! and DEMA), for more information.

Ed! Welcomes New Members

Ed! Board Meets March 9th and 23rd


Ed! Advisory Board meetings take place the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 8am in Room 225 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts (ECA). Ed! members and the public are encouraged to attend.

Ed! Welcomes New Administrator


Carrie Hulbert joins Ed! as our part-time administrator this month. Carrie is an Edmonds resident with extensive experience managing e-commerce and digital marketing projects and teams, and has worked with volunteer boards. She will help us advance our 2017 workplan, manage the website and communications, serve Ed!s membership and keep our ever-changing database up-to-date. Join us at Thursday's board meeting to say hello!
