Annual Member Meeting
Wednesday, April 26th, 7 - 9pm

Stop by between 7 - 9pm at the ECA to network, mingle, learn more about Ed!, and vote on new board members. Appetizers will be provided, along with a no-host bar.

The ballot for new board members will be sent out to members on April 17th.

Interested in considering a board position? The nomination process is simple, and self-nominations are encouraged. Send an email to Carrie with a brief description of your interest along with your contact information.

Nomination deadline is Wed, April 12th, 2017. Nominees must be members in good standing. To learn more about Ed!s scope of work and the time commitment involved, please contact a current board member. Their contact information is available on the Ed! website

Ed! Grant Program

Ed!'s grant program harnesses the power of our local community, providing funding for projects that fit with Ed!'s goals and priorities. If your idea is a match, we have funding.

There are several different project categories, including Community Events, Neighborhood Marketing, Business Recruitment & Retention, Safety & Cleanliness, Appearance & Environment, Transportation, and Historic Education/Heritage Advocacy.

Our next deadline for Ed! grant applications is April 15th.

Sales Tax Increase

As of April 1st, 2017 the sales tax rates have increased in Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties due to the passage of Sound Transit 3. The Edmonds sales tax rate is now 10.3%. For more information, here is a link to the notice from the State DOR:

ARTSpot Announces "Heart Spot" Events 

Join Tracy Felix and Sue Robertson at Cole Art Studio on April 7th from 12 - 4pm OR April 11th from 5 - 8:30pm to create uplifting art that will be displayed in the window of ARTspot for Art Walk on Thursday, April 20th.

All proceeds from the $30 charge and sales of the paintings we create will be go to Washington Kids in Transition
, a local nonprofit that provides assistance to homeless children in Edmonds. For more information, please contact ARTspot.

Ed! Advisory Board meetings take place the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 8am in Room 225 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts (ECA). Ed! members and the public are encouraged to attend.
