The Father of the Black Consciousness Movement was once more celebrated in this year’s Steve Biko Lecture that was hosted by the Durban University of Technology in partnership with the Umtapo Centre and the Steve Biko Foundation at the DUT Hotel School at the Ritson.

CELEBRATING AFRICAN CULTURE AND HERITAGE

Ululations, drums and music echoed through the DUT Fred Crookes Sports Centre, Steve Biko Campus, as students celebrated the DUT Student Traditional Festival recently.

The event which is aimed at promoting unity as well as cultural diversity was mostly participated by students living in the University’s residents and other students who wished to partake.
