DUT’S OLIFANT IS ALL SET TO RUN THE COMRADES MARATHON

The Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Yenziwe Olifant is excited and in preparation for the grueling Comrades Marathon, the ultimate ultramarathon race, taking place on 09 June 2019.

Olifant, a fourth year student, who is studying Bachelor of Health Sciences in Emergency Medical Care and Rescue (BH: EMC&R), is taking part in the Comrades as a novice which means it is her first time entering such a mammoth race.

The Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Fine Art BTech student, Kenneth Shandu joined the long list of recipients of the prestigious Emma Smith Art Scholarship Award after he was announced as the 2018 winner at a ceremony held at City Campus recently.

Ongeziwe Ndlangisa could not believe it when he was informed about her call-up to the recent Banyana Banyana camp in Durban between 02 and 08 April 2019.
