DUT’S IWWT NEW HIGH-TECH BUILDING TO BE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED
The Institute for Water and Wastewater Technology (IWWT) at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) will host the official launch of its new state-of-the-art facility at the Steve Biko Campus in Durban on Thursday, 18 July 2019.
The IWWT was initially established in 1994 as the Centre for Water Research at the former Natal Technikon and subsequently evolved into the Centre for Water and Wastewater Technology.
ENACTUS DUT STUDENTS TO FLY THE SOUTH AFRICAN FLAG EVEN HIGHER!
History repeated itself. Enactus Durban University of Technology (DUT) wins the Enactus South Africa 2019 National Competition! The Enactus DUT team of students from both the Durban and Midlands campuses defended their 2018 title and were once again crowned the national champions from the 16 competing universities at the annual National Competition held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg from 8th -9th of July 2019 accompanied by the Faculty Advisor Ms Lana-Ann Brady and Co-Faculty Advisor Ms Nontokozo Ngcobo.
DUT POSTGRADUATE ASSOCIATION HOSTED A PEACE WORKSHOP
The Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Post-Graduate Association (PGA) recently held a Peace Workshop at the Hotel School, Ritson Campus.

LBGT AWARENESS DIALOGUE WAS HELD AT DUT’S CITY CAMPUS
Last month, the Durban University of Technology (DUT) held a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Awareness Dialogue at the Arthur Smith Hall, City Campus in Durban.
This event was not only aimed at raising awareness but to also commemorate LGBT Pride Month. LGBT Pride month reflects on the stonewall riots that took place end of June 1969.
