The Durban University of Technology Autumn graduation ceremonies are what most students call a “place of happiness and pride”.
Journalism Bachelor of Technology Degree graduate, Sihle Ndebele said in a post on Tuesday, on his facebook page, “We are in Durban. Durban (DUT) has been great to us! This was for my Btech degree, my Master’s degree is definitely looming”.

Giving credit to his beautiful wife, who has been his role model and pillar of strength during the highs and lows of his study period has made Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Shaveen Maharaj’s goal of achieving his Degree of Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Low Current) with a dean’s merit award.
Maharaj graduated today (Monday, 08 May 2017) during the 3rd Session of the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment graduation ceremony at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre.
Ntokozo Zulu, a first-year Experience and Residence Education Programme Co-ordinator at the University’s Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) graduated with his Master’s degree in Language Practice this morning (9H00) during the faculty of Arts and Design’s graduation ceremony.
Zulu and his five siblings were raised by his single unemployed mother in Empangeni, Northern KwaZulu-Natal.
DUT SRC HOSTED A SEMINAR ON BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Focusing and encouraging entrepreneurship in students, the Durban University of Technology Student Representative Council (SRC) held a Business& Entrepreneurship Seminar at the Arthur Smith Hall, City Campus on Tuesday (09 May 2017).
