VICE PREMIER OF CHINA VISITS DUT


In a bid to further promote the South African and Chinese people to people partnership in South Africa, Durban University of Technology (DUT), together with the DUT Confucius Institute, hosted a visit by the Vice-Premier of China, Madam Liu Yandong at DUT’s Ritson campus on Wednesday afternoon. Madam Liu handed over equipment for language laboratories at DUT and vouchers for DUT students to use to travel to China for the annual summer camp.

DUT ALUMNUS AND STAFF MEMBER WINS AT THE 2017 LIBERTY RADIO AWARDS

Alan Khan, charismatic and respected media and radio personality who is also Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at the Durban University of Technology, was the proud recipient of the “Best News and Actuality Show” at the 2017 Liberty Radio Awards in Sandton last weekend.

Khan was nominated for two awards for his radio show Walk the Talk with Alan Khan, one for the Best News and Actuality PBS and the second for Best Night Time Show PBS.
