PROF MTHEMBU UNVEILS MAJOR UPSCALING PLANS FOR DUT


The Durban University of Technology (DUT) plans to roll-out major upscaling projects of the University’s infrastructure and human capital.

This was revealed by the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Thandwa Mthembu when he delivered his maiden State of the University Address at DUT’s Fred Crookes Sports Centre, Steve Biko Campus in Durban on Wednesday, 27 February 2019.

DUT LIBRARY HOSTED ITS ANNUAL STAFF RECOGNITION AWARDS


The Durban University of Technology (DUT) library recently hosted its annual Staff Recognition Awards at the Coastlands Hotel on the Ridge.

The awards ceremony was held to recognise excellence in service delivery and support by DUT library staff and all its stakeholders not employed by the University library. There were 17 award categories that were recognised which include the prestigious Library Partner Award.

DUT’S ATHLETES CLINCH THREE MEDALS AT THE PROVINCIAL YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP


The Durban University of Technology’s (DUT’s) Athletics Club clinched three medals in the KwaZulu-Natal Athletics Youth and Junior Championship held from 22 to 24 February 2019 at Kings Park Athletics Stadium in Durban.

Athletes, coaches, parents, teachers and supporters descended from all corners of the Province to bear the heat and humidity, all to compete in the 2019 championship.
