DUT FASHION AND TEXTILES STUDENT MAKES TOP THREE IN THE 2019 WORLD UNIVERSITY STUDENT FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION
Third year Fashion and Textiles student at the Durban University of Technology (DUT), Sicelo Justice Maphumulo was awarded third place at the 2019 World University Student Fashion Design competition, held at Qingdao, East China’s Shandong province on 9 November, 2019.
The three-day fashion show competition gathered numerous colleges and universities from 14 countries.

DUT’S IEP DEPARTMENT SAY FAREWELL TO ALL THIRD AND FINAL YEAR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The International Education and Partnership (IEP) Department held a farewell cocktail function on 21 November 2019 at Ritson Campus, Courtyard Theatre, for all final year International students who are about to embark into a new chapter in their lives.
“Going back to your home country will create conflicted emotions, as you will start to look back on what you have experienced and accomplished as a DUT student,” said Janntje Böhlke-Itzen, Head of Department: International Relations in Germany.
