ZOBI AND THE ZOOX AUDIOBOOK: PREMIERE AT
WORLD SCIENCE FESTIVAL BRISBANE

We are thrilled to announce the release of the new audiobook of Zobi and the Zoox!!
The story is again narrated by our brilliant story writer Ailsa Wild, and also features another amazing soundtrack created Brisbane synth-beat duo Brainbeau.
We just performed the world premiere of Brainbeau’s new soundtrack in the Festival Lab at World Science Festival Brisbane (photos).
And as a thank-you to all of our amazing friends and supporters the audiobook is currently available for FREE through Soundcloud...but we can’t promise to keep it free for ever.

BUBBLE-OLOGY AT WORLD SCIENCE FESTIVAL BRISBANE

Please don't burst our bubbles...

World Science Festival Brisbane invited Scale Free Network to create a participatory art-science installation for their Street Science event.
What better opportunity to unleash bubblegeddon?

Visit our SFN project page or Flickr album to see more stunning photos of Jacqui and Gert creating a mayhem of gigantic bubbles beside the Brisbane river…

Special thanks to Sarah Bazar for the great photos!

MICROSCOPE DRAWING IN IPSWICH ART GALLERY

Switched on 'scopes in Ipswich

Ipswich Art Gallery invited Scale Free Network back to facilitate three weeks of Microscope Drawing Workshops in their fantastic children’s gallery.

Jacqui and Gregory are now on the home straight, with under a week of workshops to go!

But it’s not over yet - if you’re in the Ipswich area this coming weekend (March 19-20), why not drop by to explore the micro-world for yourself?

And death does not destroy things when they die
So as to bring destruction to their atoms,
But breaks their combination everywhere,
And then makes new conjunctions, making all things
To change their shapes and colours and receive feeling,
And in an instant yield it up again.

Excerpt from the poem De rerum natura (On the Nature of the Universe),
by the Roman poet and philosopher Lucretius, in 58 BC.
