July Community Energy Update.

This month has seen a few changes, with the closure of the Urban Community Energy Fund and the demise of DECC. It's not all bad news though as there is currently funding available for running community events, supporting the smart meter rollout and helping vulnerable residents, and young people can still apply to join Bright Green Future in September.

Herts Public Health News
A Hertfordshire campaign to encourage men to get sexual health advice has won an award at the UK Public Sector Communications Awards 2016.

Hertfordshire County Council’s #GetChecked campaign aims to encourage men to think about getting a sexual health check-up, particularly if they have had unprotected sex, so that problems can be identified and treated as soon as possible. More about this here
