Village Halls and Community Buildings Special!
We are Celebrating #VillageHallsWeek
22-25 January 2018
The ACRE Network, England’s largest network of rural community support organisations is running the first ever #VillageHallsWeek, starting Monday 22 January 2018. This is a week-long celebration to say a collective “thank-you” to all volunteers who work tirelessly to keep community buildings and village halls open for the benefit of residents living in rural communities.
CDA Herts provides the only countywide Advisory & Support Service for all Village Halls and Community Buildings in Hertfordshire. We are very pleased and proud to be participating in #VillageHallsWeek helping to highlight and celebrate the extraordinary contribution made by numerous volunteers in keeping these vital community assets alive.
From Art Groups to Zumba Classes our Halls cover the lot. You can visit a Film Club, go to Dog Training, drop into an Internet Cafe, or dine at a Lunch Club; play Badminton, Indoor Bowls, Archery and Table Tennis; take your children to Nursery, Tumble Tots, Rainbows, Beavers, Brownies or Cubs; improve your health and wellbeing through Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi and Slimming World; get fit and active with Trampolining, Karate and Jujitsu or stock up on local produce at a Farmers' Market.
