A big thank you to everyone who came along to experience and enjoy Open Studios West Gippsland! It was a real joy to open the doors and speak about our work - a great opportunity to share our world and our 'art' with good friends, new acquaintances, and numerous budding artists! We hope to have inspired those curious and creative souls who arrived with a stream of interesting questions and we look forward to the next one in April!
We have since dismantled the precarious 'Table Totem' (a 5 mt tall ceramic sculpture) from Yering Station in Yarra Glen, Victoria's first Vineyard. I now look forward to exhibiting a series of paintings in Yering's Historic Winery Building early next year '10th Jan - 25th Feb' so stay tuned for details!
Between then and now, enjoy the Summer Show at West End Art Space in Melbourne - a vibrant group exhibition of paintings, ceramics and sculpture available to view and purchase '18th Dec - 27th Jan'. Work is also available through Mingara Gallery in Cowes, Phillip Island. Savour the experience and the great coffee close to both!
Does art world ever slow down I hear you ask? I hope not!! Art is interwoven with life, and life interwoven with art... every stroke of paint, every push of clay - a heartbeat.
