Interleague Eligibility Rules & Intention to Transfer Form
Further to the Football Meeting held on the 12th of July, the SMJFL has now finalised the Interleague Eligibility & Intention to Transfer Documents.

It is critical that this information is passed on to the relevant people at your club (Coaching Coordinator, Football Director etc.) ASAP so everyone is aware of these requirements prior to any player movement leading into the 2017 season.

Please note, the Intention to Transfer Form will be used as a trial in 2017. Feedback will be sought from each club after the June 30 transfer period before deciding if the form will continue to be used in 2018.
Office Closed - Melbourne Cup Weekend
Please note the SMJFL will be closed for the Melbourne Cup long weekend and will re-open on Wednesday, 2nd November.
Registrations - Reminder
New Transfer Window
AFL Victoria have recently advised there will now be a transfer window between the 1st and 30th of November each year. Please click here for further details.

Registrations Open
As always, all registrations will be open from the 1st of November so please ensure you have prepared your registration form (through Footyweb). Please note, Emily will be on leave all of next week but will be able to help with any queries when she returns on the 10th of October. In the meantime, the Support section of the website is very handy and there is also information on Secretaries' Scoop (including videos).

Club End of Season Survey Survey - OVERDUE
The Annual End of Season Survey is now open. As per previous years, please ensure that the survey is discussed at a committee meeting; as there are questions that will need responses from different committee members (such as the committee member(s) responsible for football, apparel, sponsorship, events, fixtures, events etc.).
It’s crucial that every Club fills out this online survey.

To complete the survey, please click on the link listed below.
Survey Questions:            Click here for PDF of all questions
Survey closes:                  Thursday 13th October
Lastly, it’s very important that any SMJFL By-Laws feedback and/or requested changes are captured within this online survey.
If you have any questions, please contact a member of staff to further discuss.
