Answer:..... will appear somewhere in this edition of Secretaries' Scoop!
Perpetual Trophies must be returned this week!
Trophies still outstanding are on the list of all trophies (which is also on Secretaries' Corner). Clubs are requested to return any Perpetual Trophies which were awarded in 2014, or earlier. They do not need to be engraved, if not already engraved. These are due back at the SMJFL Offices no later than 5pm Friday July 31st.
Grand Final Team Lists for Record
Under 11-13 competitions DUE 10pm Tuesday 11th August.
Under 14-17 competitions DUE 10pm Tuesday 18th August.  We appreciate you do not know definitely if teams will make the Grand Final, however to save a last minute rush please submit all likely teams (those in semi/preliminary finals) and we will publish only those playing in Grand Finals.

If Team Lists are not received by the deadline then Team Lists will not be printed in the record
This year please submit one document per club, containing all desired teams in individual named worksheets. Please be clear when naming teams, and documents. Lightning Carnival Preparations - Pre-Order Match footage now
Players, parents, families & fans can now pre-order their Lightning Carnival match footage (for both weeks!) shot by SMJFL Partner - Red Onion. Please pass this information on to Team Managers, and a simple one liner in newsletters etc would be great for your members.  Families can pre-order their teams packs via this link: http://www.smjfl.tv/lightning-carnival/lightning-carnival-3
By pre-ordering, they will be sent an email with the download link as soon as the vision is available online. This ensures they get access immediately. Don't miss out on a fantastic memento of the day!

Finals Qualification & Exemptions
Please ensure you are familiar with all the Player Movement Policy and Finals Qualifications By-Laws coming into finals. If you are unsure of anything please contact Emily.
An online exemption request form will be posted on Secretaries' Corner over the next week and also posted in the Scoop next week.
Girls' Footy Working Party
As you're aware the SMJFL held a Girls' Footy "Think Tank" last week. One of the things that came out of the session was a request for the League to have a Working Party specifically for girls' footy.
The SMJFL is asking for a representative from each club that currently has a girls football team or is aiming to field one in 2016 to be part of a Girls' Football Working Party.
The SMJFL will have a representative on the Working Party (Football Operations Manager, Emily McIntyre) but it will be primarily driven by the clubs.
Nominations can be submitted by clicking here and must be received by the 14th of August.
